See The Unseen
Most of us take our eyesight for granted until we notice something missing. Millions of people experience subtle vision changes every year, yet many go undetected because we assume our eyes are fine. ‘See the Unseen’ lets you experience firsthand what you might be missing, using interactive visual design to reveal hidden details in your everyday world. It’s a simple, shareable way to check in on your eyes because early detection can make all the difference.

of vision loss in adults over 40 is preventable or treatable if caught early.
How design can help
Design isn’t just about making things look good—it can help you see the world differently. By using visuals that mimic blurred letters, missing details, or subtle distortions, design can simulate what vision loss feels like. Experiencing these effects firsthand makes it easier to understand why regular eye tests matter.
Canva and Affinity are coming together to create at-home vision tests. Canva’s templates make the tests easy, interactive, and shareable, while Affinity adds precision and realistic visuals. Together, they let people experience firsthand what subtle vision changes feel like.

Foods That Help You Maintain 20/20 Vision
Your eyes rely on a variety of nutrients to function properly. Without them, vision can gradually weaken over time. While glasses and eye exams help correct vision problems, nutrition can help support eye health before issues begin.
